General Terms and Conditions
Open Air Picnics and Takeaway requires a minimum of two days’ (48 hours) notice to book and prepare a picnic.
It is possible that we may get over booked, therefore our picnics are subject to availability. While we will strive to provide you with your perfect picnic experience, we cannot always guarantee your preferred date. It is recommended that you book as early as possible to secure your preferred date.
Picnics are available for pick up during opening hours 7am to 5pm Mon, Wed, Thurs and 7am to 6pm Fri, Sat, Sun, (We are closed on Tues), from Open Air Picnics and Takeaway, 61 First Avenue, Sawtell, NSW, 2452,
We accept payment online by credit card.
All Open Air Picnics and Takeaway menus are subject to change, depending on the availability of seasonal produce. Open Air Picnics and Takeaway reserve the right to replace a menu item with something equally as fresh and tasty.
We require 48 hours’ notice for all cancellations. After this time, no refund will be given for cancellations.
We desire to create for you an amazing, fresh, delicious picnic experience, and this includes catering for any allergies and dietary requirements. So that we can cater accordingly, please advise us of any dietary requirements at the time of order.
Our picnic Gift Voucher T’s and C’s
Open Air Picnics and Takeaway gift vouchers are valid for one year from the date of issue.
Our picnic gift vouchers can be used for picnics on any day of the year during opening hours.
In no case can gift vouchers be exchanged for cash.
All other Terms and Conditions of Open Air Picnics and Takeaway apply to gift vouchers.
Drop Off Shed Terms and Conditions
Drop Off Shed service is only to be utilised by customers during out of store opening hours.
Use of Drop Off Shed service is to be pre-arranged with Open Air Picnics and Takeaway prior to use.
All hired items are to be placed carefully inside the Drop Off Shed, limiting any damage to hired items. Customer is liable for any damage caused to the drop off box, or hired picnic items when customer is returning items.
A Drop Off Shed lock code will be provided to the customer in the case of necessary use. This code is valid for 24 hours from the time of customer picnic pick up and will become invalid after this time period. If customer fails to return items hired within 24 hours of pick up, a fee will be charged for an extra day of hire for each item. This fee will continue for each overdue day until the acceptable return of all items. The daily hire charge per item will continue until all equipment is returned
Should the customer not return equipment 24 hours after the due time, without prior arrangement with Open Air Picnics, the hired items will be considered stolen and the police will be notified.
Open Air Picnics and Takeaway are not liable for any injuries which may occur during the customer use of the Drop Off Shed, or travel to and from the drop off box location.
Open Air Picnics to communicate clear instructions on the use of the Drop Off Shed lock system. Customer is then responsible for using the Drop Off Shed system in the correct way, as communicated to them.
Customer is liable for any damage caused to the Drop Off Shed, or hired picnic items when customer is returning items.
CCTV footage is in place to record all movements in the direct and surrounding premises where the Drop Off Shed is located.
Customer is to sign off on the above terms and conditions prior to using the Drop Off Shed system
